Maybe... Three days ago. More or less.

I wonder if he’s angry with me.

He is always angry. And selfish. I would not take it personally if he is.

[ those are both true, but dextera can’t not take it personally. even on good days, the archangel’s irritation cuts at him the way no one else can. ]

I don’t know. I just don’t know. I can still feel echoes of his artificial Consciousness Orb. Or I could. Something feels wrong.

[ dextera doesn’t know. it doesn’t occur to him that the archangel could die. it seems an impossible thing, especially here—so for now, he’s merely unsettled. ]

[ his poor brother. He feels like he'll be plagued by that man until one of them ends. ]

I choose to ignore it. But... it does feel off... if I try to sense them. That man maybe got into trouble.

[ dextera stares down at his device. his brother doesn’t seem half as concerned, and dextera wouldn’t really expect him to be. if the archangel doesn’t show up within another week, though, dextera will have to consider him gone. but that seems odd. it doesn’t seem right. ]

I don’t understand. Please tell me if you see him, brother.

[ Sinistra can tell his brother is upset. He wishes he didn't hold such concern for him. He can't erase those feelings, though, as much as he wants to. ]

[ what good would it do to look for him now? dextera doesn’t know. he doesn’t want to drag his brother into his burdens from the archangel, either. frowning at his device, he considers his answer. ]
